Attorney Michael Brandt has practiced in civil litigation for his entire career. He focuses primarily on family law, including divorce, paternity, child support, maintenance, interstate custody actions, business and property division, contempt/enforcement proceedings, and restraining orders/injunction and takes appointment as Guardian ad litem by the Courts to advocate on behalf of the best interests of children directly.

He also practices in the areas of Juvenile Law (CHIPS), Estate Planning, Guardianships and Probate. He has significant experience with complicated international and interstate custody and placement disputes, and the intricacies of formal discovery.

He is a certified Collaborative Divorce attorney, has acted as a Parent Coordinator in contested family cases, as is available to serve as a family law mediator.
