Michael W. Margiotta, Jr. is licensed in all local and Louisiana state courts.  He maintains a very diverse practice covering a wide range of civil litigation.  His practice encompasses family law matters including divorce, custody, support matters, and adoptions.  His practice also entails workers’ compensation, personal injury, medical malpractice, and longshore harbor workers’ compensation.

Michael received his law degree from Southern University Law Center and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of New Orleans.  During law school, Michael completed a Federal Mediation Certification Course and assisted in the mediation of employment discrimination claims through the law school’s Mediation Law Clinic.

Prior to his career in law, Michael owned and operated a successful residential construction company in St. Tammany Parish.  Michael is also an adjunct professor at Herzing University where he teaches in the paralegal and general studies departments.
