Biography
Michelle Stavros is a zealous advocate for her clients. She has dedicated her practice to helping individuals and businesses with their immigration and employment needs. Ms. Stavros believes strongly that good communication is the key to a successful outcome. She is an effective communicator and takes the time to teach her clients about the process in a way they can understand.
Ms. Stavros attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where she received her Bachelors in Spanish and Sociology. During her college years she worked for the Conference on World Affairs, designed and implemented programs in the community and worked for the office of Judicial Affairs. After finishing undergraduate school she began working with the immigrant population. She saw first-hand how this group of people were taken advantage of and the injustices they faced. She then decided to attend law school at California Western School of Law in San Diego, California to fight against the injustices these individuals faced. While in law school Ms. Stavros presided as the President of the Public Interest Law Foundation and received the Diversity Scholarship for her work promoting diversity.
Ms. Stavros has a strong presence in the community through her involvement in community outreach and affiliation with legal associations. In addition to her volunteer work, she is an adjunct law professor at the Univesidad Atonomia de Baja California in Tijuana, Mexico. She is also a guest instructor of Acceso Capacitacion where she trains attorneys and judges throughout Latin America on trial skills so they can effectuate legal reform and transparency within their own judicial systems.
