Biography
Michelle is an intellectual property and commercial litigation attorney at Helsell Fetterman LLP based out of Seattle, Washington. Michelle has assisted clients with a broad range of civil matters in federal and state courts across the country. She brings a breadth of legal knowledge to the firm from her prior work in insurance defense and subrogation, transportation, construction defects and site injuries, personal injury, business, intellectual property, and art law.
Michelle previously served as the judicial clerk for the Hon. Judge Janice E. Ellis of the Snohomish County Superior Court and a pro bono attorney for the Seattle Art Museum’s Office of General Counsel. She also volunteered for the King County Bar Association’s Family Law Mentor Program, advocating for the protection of domestic violence victims from their abuser in court.
While attending law school, she worked as the intellectual property research assistant to Seattle University’s Professor Margaret Chon, served as the National Competition Chair of the Moot Court Board, and volunteered as an intake coordinator for the Arts Legal Clinic, hosted jointly by the Washington Lawyers for the Arts and the local law schools.
