Moshe (“Jeff”) Admon is a trial lawyer licensed in Washington, Arizona, and Texas (inactive). His office is in downtown Seattle. He has extensive and in-depth courtroom experience in Business Litigation, Personal Injury and Property Damage, Intellectual Property Litigation, and Defamation Litigation. Jeff provides thoughtful, emotionally intelligent, and zealous representation. - Business And Securities Litigation: Jeff has extensive experience vigorously representing and defending business owners in various disputes, including securities matters, cryptocurrency disputes, partnership disputes, internet defamation, and intellectual property disputes. Jeff litigated one of the largest EB-5 lawsuits in the United States related to a significant commercial development in downtown Seattle, WA. In that case, which went to trial, Jeff, in association with co-counsel, secured a verdict for over $21 million for our clients.
- Personal Injury and Property Damage: Jeff has extensive experience vigorously representing individuals who were seriously injured in accidents. Jeff has successfully helped multiple individuals settle claims for injuries sustained to their person and property due to another party’s fault. - Intellectual Property Litigation: Jeff has extensive experience in IP disputes and litigation, including IP assets belonging to companies in business disputes. Below are some of Jeff’s recent successes:- 1501 1st Ave. N v. Branfman, Cai, et al. Complex Corporate Litigation. Jeff represented 23 minority shareholders from China and Japan in an 8-day trial against American Life, Inc., the nation’s largest EB-5 developer. This was a trial of first impression in Washington. Jeff took the case to verdict in conjunction with co-counsel, winning $21 million for his clients.
- Leek v. Wang, McDuffie, et al. Complex Corporate Litigation. Jeff represented one of the Defendants, a renowned cybersecurity expert and owner of a multinational cybersecurity company. Plaintiff plead Breach of Contract, Breach of Partnership, Breach of Duty as Partners, Contract Implied in Law, Contract Implied in Fact, Willful Refusal to Pay Wages, Negligent Misrepresentation, Intentional Misrepresentation, and a host of other claims. After a 4-day trial, the court dismissed all claims against Jeff’s client.
- In. Re. Estate of Pinto. Probate Litigation. A 3-day trial where Jeff successfully represented one of the estate beneficiaries, securing a $600,000 verdict for his client and the return of an invaluable family heirloom – a gold pendant minted in the early 19th century depicting the portrait of Napoleon Bonaparte.
- Gadley v. Ruddock. Complex Family Litigation. An interstate child custody case, where the mother absconded with the parties’ child to California. After a UCCJEA hearing before a panel of Washington and California judges, Jeff secured the child’s return to Washington. Jeff later represented his client in a 4-day trial. The court granted Jeff’s client full custody.
- Hu v. Quiao. Complex International Family Litigation. Jeff’s client lived between China and the U.S. The opposing party filed for divorce in Washington. Jeff successfully argued improper venue and jurisdiction under the UCCJEA. In an unprecedented ruling, the Superior Court Judge dismissed the opposing party’s Washington divorce petition and ordered the parties to file their divorce in China.
- Handa v. Nangia. Complex International Divorce. Jeff’s client lived in the U.S. while the Respondent moved to India. The Respondent founded a tech company while married to Jeff’s client, valued at approximately $4 million. Jeff secured a verdict of over $2 million in community property to his client.
- Hassan v. Abdi. Complex Family Litigation. Jeff’s client, the Respondent, was found in Default of a Divorce and Child Support Petition and ordered to pay support. Jeff brought a CR-60 Motion to Vacate the Default Judgment, pleading fraud, and successfully vacated the Default order before a Superior Court Judge.
- Xian Noodles L.L.C. v. Li and Huang et al. Internet Defamation. Jeff represented the Plaintiff in an internet defamation case where the Defendants posted defamatory and untrue statements about the Plaintiff’s restaurant on a popular Chinese social media website. During litigation, Jeff forced Defendants to remove their defamatory posts about his client and secured a successful financial settlement on their behalf.
- Henderson v. Thompson. Internet Defamation. Jeff represented the Defendant in an internet defamation case and helped secure a successful settlement on behalf of his client.
- Scott et. al. v. Kensington Real Estate L.L.C. Jeff represented multiple realtors in a lawsuit against their brokerage firm for withholding commissions. Jeff litigated the case and, pre-trial, reached a very successful settlement on behalf of his clients.
- State of Washington v. Wicken. Criminal Defense of an individual accused of trespass and violating a protective order. Pleading the defense of “mistaken identity” in a 2-day trial, Jeff’s client was found not guilty on all charges.
- State of Washington v. Walsh. D.U.I. Defense. The Defendant was arrested for drinking while driving a moped. Arguing that a moped is not a “vehicle” for the purpose of the Washington Motor Vehicle Statute, per U.S. v. Dotson, C.A. 9 (Wash.) 1994, 34 F.3d 882, 32 A.L.R. 5th 875, the State dismissed the D.U.I. charges against Jeff’s client.
- Xu v. Guo. Antiharassment Litigation. Jeff represented Xu, a foreign college student in Seattle, being harassed and threatened by another student. After a lengthy antiharassment hearing with multiple witnesses and a skilled attorney (now a Washington State Superior Court Judge) representing the opposing party, Jeff won the hearing and secured a protection order for his client.
- Mountain Mama Distillery Inc. v. K.C.B. Enterprises, L.L.C. Trademark Litigation. Jeff represented Mountain Mama Distillery (“MMD”), a national spirit distillery and owner of the “Mountain Mama” U.S. Trademark No. 5,094,999. K.C.B. infringed on the use of that trademark by marketing “Mountain Mama Moonshine” without a license. Jeff successfully enforced MMD’s trademark, forcing K.C.B. to shut down all manufacturing, sale, and merchandising products with the “Mountain Mama” name.
Before becoming an attorney, Jeff was a mechanical engineer. While managing a successful business, he earned an LL.B. (Hon.) from the University of London. Jeff went on to earn his J.D. and LL.M. at the University of Arizona. Because of Jeff’s unique background and strong communication skills, he is adept at finding creative solutions to complex problems.
