Nathan J. Ratliff is experienced in the courtroom, dealing with criminal, family law, real estate, probate, personal injury and general civil litigation. Additionally, he will assist clients in business formation and planning, estate planning, and real estate and other complex involvement in numerous areas of law allows him to provide comprehensive legal

representation of his clients and their families and businesses. 

Nathan J. Ratliff grew up in Merrill, Oregon, attended high school locally at Lost River Junior Senior High School and attended college at Oregon State University, where he graduated summa cum laude, obtaining dual B.A. degrees in Political Science and International Studies, with a minor in Spanish. He studied in an exchange program Mexico City, at the prestigious Universidad Iberoamericana, and later served as an intern at the Frente Autentico del Trabajo. He is fluent in Spanish. He has been practicing law in the Klamath Basin since 2003, after graduating at the top of his class at the University of Oregon School of Law, being recognized as a member of the Order of the Coif and a Wayne Morse Center for Law and Politics Fellow. 

He is a member of the Oregon State Bar, and admitted to the Federal Bar for the U.S. District Court, District of Oregon, University of Oregon School of Law (J.D., 2003). He is also a Municipal Court Judge Pro Tem, for the City of Klamath Falls, an Oregon State Bar Representative to House of Delegates, from 2007 to the present, a 2007 Oregon State Bar Leadership College Fellow, and a representative to the Oregon State Bar Public Service Advisory Committee. 

In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, cooking, reading and spending time outdoors with his family and pets.
