Biography
Neely Baugh-Dash is licensed to practice law in the state of Tennessee and is admitted to practice before the Middle District of Tennessee federal court. She graduated summa cum laude from Belmont University College of Law in 2020. While in law school, she served on the editorial board of the Belmont Law Review and as the Assistant Executive Director of the Belmont Legal Aid Society. The Tennessee Supreme Court recognized Ms. Baugh-Dash as a “Law Student for Justice” for completing over 300 hours of pro bono work during law school. She has volunteered with immigrant and refugee community organizations in Nashville since 2013.
Before law school, Ms. Baugh-Dash earned a bachelor’s degree in English and Spanish from Lipscomb University and graduated summa cum laude. During this time, she studied abroad in Santiago, Chile, to improve her Spanish language skills. Her practice includes both employment and family-based immigration, as well as federal litigation challenging unlawful agency action and unreasonable delays. Ms. Baugh-Dash also has experience in cases involving the intersection of immigration and the criminal legal system.
