Neil started his practice as a staff attorney at the Washington Appellate Defender Association from 1985 to 1989. He then served as a staff attorney and supervisor at the Seattle-King County Public Defender Association from 1989 to 2002. He joined Cohen & Iaria, a small Seattle criminal defense firm, as “of counsel” from 2003 to 2009. Neil started his own firm, the Law Office of Neil Fox PLLC, in 2010.

Neil’s strengths include both legal analysis and trial skills. He has represented many foreign-born clients and handled inter-state and international discovery and extradition. He is a cooperating attorney with the Mexican Capital Legal Assistance Program, representing the interests of the Mexican government in capital cases involving Mexican nationals.
