Nicholas Verna has spent his professional life advising families regarding the use and preservation of their money and assets, first as an assistant to a Certified Financial Planner and now as an attorney with a focus on trust and estate planning and administration. Many of his clients have sought his guidance with their differing financial needs due to divorce/separation or the death of a loved one. After graduation from Appalachian School of Law Nick served as an attorney with Legal Aid of North Carolina in Raleigh assisting low-income victims of domestic violence, advocating for tenants in landlord/tenant disputes and representing victims of wrongful employment termination and unlawful working conditions. He spent almost five years as a Guardian ad Litem for abused and/or neglected children through DHHS court in Wake County. Nick has a huge heart, caring spirit and high professional and ethical standards that he brings to all of his work. During his free time Nick enjoys hiking, yoga, traveling, SCUBA diving, and cooking something that he hopefully grew himself.
