Biography
Nicole Gorovsky represents individuals who have been affected by crime. She is committed to fighting for those who have been abused or harmed. She further pursues the institutions that enable the perpetration of these abuses.
Nicole received her law degree from Washington University School of Law. After graduating from law school, she served the Missouri Attorney General’s Office in the Criminal Appellate Division. There she was nominated for the David Dixon Award for Appellate Advocacy. Nicole then served as a prosecutor in the Boone County Prosecutor’s Office in Columbia, Missouri and focused on prosecuting crimes against children and sexual offenses against adults. She assisted in creating the Mid-Missouri Internet Crimes Task Force, sat on the Board of Directors of a Domestic Violence Women’s Shelter, was active with the Rainbow House Child Advocacy Center, and held a position on a Child Fatality Review Board. From there, Nicole became an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of Illinois. In the United States Attorney’s Office, she was dedicated to the Project Safe Childhood initiative of the Department of Justice and won numerous awards from the Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigations for her work. In total, Nicole has successfully prosecuted hundreds of criminal. She has also appeared in every Appellate Court in the State of Missouri, and in the Seventh and Eighth Circuit Courts of Appeals. Nicole is licensed in Missouri and Illinois.
