Nicole Hay devotes her legal practice to appeals, ranging across a span of commercial litigation, family law, immigration, bankruptcy, personal injury, civil rights, professional malpractice, and some criminal cases.  Nicole has clerked for two federal judges, has won multiple best oral advocate and best brief awards for moot court advocacy, and has coached students in speech and advocacy.  In her nine years of practice in both Texas and Washington, Nicole has assisted with no less than 32 appeals and has argued nearly a dozen appeals in Washington, many of which she won.  Nicole has an expertise in the mindset and operations of appellate courts that can not only help clients assess the benefit of an appeal but also put them in the best position to prevail.
