Attorney Messerschmidt received her law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law in Valparaiso, Indiana and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. She previously worked at an Indiana personal injury law firm while attending law school.

Additionally, Mrs. Messerschmidt completed an array of externships with court systems throughout the Midwest including: The Circuit Court of Cook County in Chicago, IL; La Porte Superior Court in Michigan City, IN; Porter County Prosecutor’s Office – Child Support Division in Valparaiso, IN; and the Walworth County District Attorney’s Office in Elkhorn, WI.

 Additional credentials and distinctions include: memberships in the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice.
