Attorney Norman H. Makechnie assists clients of Upton & Hatfield, LLP with matters concerning estate planning and real estate law.
In addition to his legal practice, Attorney Makechnie is involved with several professional organizations, as well as local committees in the community of Peterborough where he has resided for many years. He works with the New Hampshire Estate Planning Council, the New Hampshire Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. In Peterborough, he has served on the Board of the Contoocook Valley School Board District, as the Secretary of the Monadnock Community Hospital Board of Trustees, and as the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation Regional Advisor. He has also worked with the Monadnock Community Day Care Center.
