Whenever you make the decision to hire an attorney, you should ask if your lawyer is a  "complete lawyer," which is one that has real experience settling, trying, or appealing a case.  That's who I am.  If your lawyer can't look you in the eye and tell you that, you're not talking to the right attorney.
