Biography
Patrick is an attorney who strives to provide value to his clients through efficient and coordinated protection of intellectual property in 25 Caribbean jurisdictions. He combines his current work in intellectual-property prosecution with his past experience in litigation and as a federal law clerk to anticipate and avoid stumbling blocks for clients.
Before attending law school, Patrick worked as a quantitative research analyst at a Washington, D.C., consulting firm. He brings his business experience to bear in analyzing the best means of protecting his clients' intellectual property across a diverse set of jurisdictions with varied laws.
Patrick received both Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Jurisprudence degrees from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. At Vanderbilt Law, Patrick served as an executive editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law, as a member of the moot court board, and as a class representative on the student bar association’s board of governors.
Patrick served as a term law clerk to Hon. Lanny King, United States Magistrate Judge, and as a summer extern law clerk for Hon. Eugene E. Siler, Jr. of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Patrick is a member of the Palm Beach County and American Bar Associations and the International Trademarks Association (INTA).
