I immigrated from Russia to the United States, the State of South Carolina

with my parents 1997.  I attended Hilton Head High School and graduated with the Class of 2000.  I received my bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston,

majoring in International Business.  I was awarded a Doctorate of Jurisprudence (JD) from the Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in 2007. 

I have always been interested in law as a mean of assisting those who need help.

Upon my graduation and sitting for the South Carolina Bar Exam, I joined

Citizens Opposed to Domestic Abuser (CODA) in May of 2008.  As the only public service staff attorney for four (4) counties in the 14th Judicial Circuit, I served the victims of domestic violence in Beaufort, Jasper, Colleton, and Hampton Counties, South Carolina.  I am one of only four Russian speaking attorneys in the state of South Carolina.
