Patrick Ritter serves northeast Iowa including Fayette, Winneshiek, Clayton, Allamakee, and Chickasaw counties. His primary areas of practice are estate planning, litigation, probate / guardianships & conservatorships, real estate, and family law. He is a regular speaker on Elder Law topics and routinely handles cases involving parties with dementia / diminished capacity, whether by representing a party or as Guardian ad Litem.

Patrick is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served on active duty from 2000 - 2004. He was honorably discharged as a Sergeant after his tour of duty, leaving to attend college. Later, he served as a financial supervisor with the United States Department of Agriculture prior to attending law school.

Patrick enjoys the outdoors including kayaking, camping, fishing, hiking, and sight-seeing. He lives in West Union and serves as Assistant Fayette County Attorney.
