Paul is a native Hoosier. He grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Ball State University. He obtained his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Florida Coastal School of Law. Paul is licensed to practice law in all Indiana State Courts including the Supreme Court of Indiana. He is also licensed to practice in the United States District Court, Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. Paul is a solo practitioner and owns and operates The Law Office of Paul J. Podlejski. Paul is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, and the Indiana State Bar Association Young Lawyers Section. In addition to private practice Paul is also a Public Defender for Madison County, Indiana, and Assistant City Attorney for the City of Anderson, Indiana.
