 Industry Experience

Paul Gaymon focuses his legal practice on representing individuals and businesses with tax debt and other financial problems throughout the Washington, D.C. metro area, Maryland, and the Eastern District of Virginia. Mr. Gaymon routinely represents clients before the United States Bankruptcy Courts in the Eastern District of Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia, and negotiates tax matters on behalf of his clients with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Virginia Department of Taxation, Maryland State Department of Assessments and Taxation (SDAT), and the Washington, D.C. Office of Tax and Revenue.  

Prior to founding The Gaymon Law Firm, PLLC, Mr. Gaymon served as an Attorney-Advisor to the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights at the United States Department of Education. In that capacity, Mr. Gaymon advised the Assistant Secretary and Deputy Assistant Secretary for Enforcement in connection with issues arising under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act; Title VI and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
