I am a first generation Canadian/American. Both my parents emigrated from Hong Kong with the hopes of giving me, my brother, and sister a better life. As I grew up, I watched them struggle to overcome language barriers and racial discrimination which affected every decision they made. Living in a foreign land without a safety net left them with no choice but to make personal sacrifices over and over again to survive. Their simple determination to succeed is a life lesson I carry with me. I am now a wife, a mother and life coach to two multiracial sons, and a dog mom to a dachshund/hound who stands proudly at 12” tall and 24” long.

I am a shareholder in the Saxton and Stump’s Business, Corporate and Tax and Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Groups working with clients on federal income tax, specifically working with pass-through entities and tax-exempt organizations. I handle negotiations with the IRS and Pennsylvania Department of Revenue on both income and estate tax matters. I also work in general tax planning through the use of private letter rulings and tax opinions as well as in nonqualified deferral compensation agreements for executives specializing in Section 409A compliance.
