Biography
I was born, raised and went to college in the Bay Area. I earned my undergraduate business management degree from Menlo College in Atherton, California. The summer following graduation from Menlo College, I spent the summer on the East Coast volunteering for a non-profit organization dedicated to helping families affected by children with cancer called Time for Life. Following that summer, I attended Loyola University Chicago School of Law, from which I earned my law degree in 2005.
While in law school, I served as a law clerk for an insurance defense firm, Mordini & Schwartz, judicial extern for the Bankruptcy court for the Northern District of California, a real estate analyst for American Express Tax and Business Services, and student editor of the Loyola University Chicago Consumer Law Review. These experiences exposed me to litigation, bankruptcy issues and commercial retail leases.
Following law school, I took and passed the Illinois bar. In September of 2005, I moved to Las Vegas to accept a position as an attorney in the Business Department of Lionel Sawyer & Collins. I have been here ever since.
I enjoy representing clients in business transactions. I work hard to be efficient and responsive, raise the legal issues in a deal and step out of the way to allow the clients to make their business decisions.
