For over two decades, Phil has litigated and tried complex medical malpractice and catastrophic injury cases throughout Washington State, including wrongful death, brain injury, and birth injury claims.  He represents physicians, nurses, hospitals, and other healthcare providers who have been accused of medical negligence.  He also assists healthcare providers in professional licensing matters and disciplinary actions.

Phil is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. This honor is extended by invitation only to those experienced trial lawyers who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility and collegiality.  He is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, an invitation only organization for experienced civil trial attorneys.  Phil has an AV "preeminent" rating by Martindale Hubbell (the highest possible rating), and he has been selected as a member of America’s Top 100 Civil Defense Litigators.
