Mr. Reutlinger commissioned in the United States Navy as a Judge Advocate in October 2005.  He served eight years on active duty litigating courts-martial at trial and appeal, administrative separation boards, Boards of Inquiry, and military disability cases before the Physical Evaluation Board.  He continues to serve in the Navy JAG Corps Reserves.

Unlike most former Judge Advocates Mr. Reutlinger has not only tried cases for service members and the Government, but he has also been in-house counsel to the Navy's Physical Evaluation Board and Discharge Review Board.  Therefore, he possesses a unique insight into the Boards' decision making process.  

In addition to his military law practice, Mr. Reutlinger represents companies in civil litigation and insurance defense matters.
