Rachael Marie Levine
Child Abuse Attorney | Serving Brookfield, CT
Child Abuse, Juvenile Law, Family, Child Custody, Divorce and Separation & Domestic Violence
Biography
For several years, Attorney Levine was employed by the State of Connecticut Office of the Attorney General. There, she represented the Department of Children and Families in the Child Protection Department. In 2020, she finished her term running the docket in Torrington Juvenile Court where she handled hundreds of cases.
She has worked as an adjunct professor at Western Connecticut State University and proudly serves on the board of the Annie C. Courtney Foundation, a non-profit focusing primarily on aging out and transitioning foster youth.
Currently, Attorney Levine focuses primarily on child protection and probate cases. With her mediation background, there is always an attempt to resolve a case without trial. However, she is no stranger to litigation and will zealously try any case where settlement cannot be reached.
Family is extremely important to Attorney Levine. As a child adopted out of the foster care system herself, she has a vested interest in making sure everyone has a voice regardless of age or ability. When it comes to her own family, she is proud to admit that she has finally found work where she can advocate for her clients and be the present mother and wife her children and husband deserve.
Attorney Levine lives in Brookfield, CT with her husband, two children and two cats. She loves listening to audio books about driven, strong-willed women and podcasts about corruption, personal growth and finances. For fun, she blogs, sharing the humor, heartbreak and weight of being a working mom figuring it all out.
