Biography
I was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. I graduated from Riverwood High School before attending the University of Maryland, College Park, where I double majored in Criminology and Jewish Studies. After taking a year off, I went to law school at the Hofstra University School of Law in Hempstead, New York. I wrote for the Journal of International Business and Law, where my article, “Cuban Baseball Players: the Unlucky Ones,” was published.
Journal of International Business and LawAfter graduation in 2011, I worked at a civil rights/criminal defense firm in New York City before moving to Sydney, Australia with my husband. In Sydney, I studied law at the University of Technology Sydney before working as a law clerk at a business immigration firm in the Central Business District of Sydney. This is where my interest in immigration law began. After moving back to Atlanta in late 2013, I began practicing U.S. immigration law in 2015 and have greatly enjoyed every minute of it.
I am admitted to the State Bar of Georgia and the New York State Bar. I am a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
