Biography
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida and a Juris Doctorate from the Barry University School of Law.
I began my career with the O’Mara Law Group while still in law school, working as an intern. After being admitted to the Florida Bar, I remained with the firm and practiced in the areas of Criminal Defense and Civil Rights and also assisted in the creation and launching of the 2nd Amendment Prepaid Legal Services Program. I then worked for a large Orlando-based firm, practicing insurance defense but returned to the O’Mara Law Group where I now practice in Criminal Defense and Civil Rights.
Prior to pursuing a career in the legal industry, I served my country in the United States Army for eight years, where I worked in military law enforcement, serving as a criminal investigator and a traffic accident investigator. Additionally, I am a combat veteran of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom.
While in law school, I served as the Director of Interschool Competitions for the Moot Court Honors Board and Executive Editor/Business and Public Relations Editor for the Child and Family Law Journal. Additionally, I graduated Cum Laude, in the top 10% of my class.
