I provide legal services to Illinois businesses and organizations, particularly local food operations and other locally owned and managed businesses, such as cooperatives, benefit corporations, and similar social enterprise forms.

Services vary depending on clients' goals and needs, but may include explaining applicable legal requirements for an industry or activity; drafting or reviewing contracts and other documents; helping with formation and development of entities; advising on securities, employment, insurance, and tax issues; and providing other business law services as needed.

I also participate in a community garden, have done a 2-month/300-mile backpacking trip living outdoors, and make my own personal-use health care products and herbal medicine.
