Involved Scotland Yard, Virginia State Police, international investigation including Continental U.S., Western Europe and South America.  Reported at the time to be the largest manhunt in the history of VA.

State of Virginia v. Hazel Robinson, et al.

Called the “Largest Drug Ring” in the history of the Northern Neck Virginia Peninsula.

USA v. Ortiz, et al.

East Coast drug ring selling synthetic heroin.  Caused media sensation with 43 deaths attributed to the synthetic drug and when U.S. Marshals mistakenly escorted co-conspirator to local bus stop, purchased a bus ticket and their freedom.  Escaped but subsequently apprehended in New York City.
