Attorney R. Davis Younts answered the call to serve his country after September 11, 2001, joining the Air Force JAG Corps while studying at Dickinson School of Law. As a military prosecutor, he earned a 98% conviction rate and national recognition for his work on complex cases. Transitioning to defense, Younts excelled as a litigator, becoming the Air Force’s top-ranked Senior Defense Counsel and leading high-profile cases involving homicide, sexual assault, and other serious crimes. Promoted to Major, he was later selected to instruct at the JAG School, where he modernized trial advocacy training. After deploying for Operation Enduring Freedom, Younts served as a senior legal advisor to the Pennsylvania National Guard, earning the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Despite his success, Younts returned to private practice, driven by his passion for defending Constitutional rights. Inspired by his faith and a calling to advocate for justice, Younts is dedicated to ensuring fair trials and equal treatment under the law for those facing serious criminal charges, believing that compassion and fairness are essential to a free society.
