I am a trial lawyer and have successfully tried both civil and criminal cases for thirty years. I have won murder trials, many other felonies, and countless misdemeanors and I have also been active in community service throughout my career, having been a founder of the Art Students League of Denver, , Chaired the Denver section of the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD) in Colorado, among others.

Creativity in Law is necessary.

To be an excellent lawyer, you need to be creative. As a litigator, I need to be creative in coming up with arguments on behalf of my clients, in applying case law to those arguments, and even in determining what defenses to bring. It means I bring creativity to my cases and expertise in ways that build the best possible defenses and strategies. I have helped many lawyers manage and evaluate their cases in the most creative way possible to prepare for and win even the most difficult trials.

I am also a creative artist and oil painter, painting nearly every day. The practice of painting keeps me happy and energized for my daily law practice.
