For twenty-eight years, Tom has worked with clients and families who need Estate Planning.  Tom has also been involved in litigation arising from serious personal injuries, aviation accidents, oil field emergencies, equipment failures, products liability defects and commercial business disputes.  For business clients, Tom has enforced contractual rights, obtained injunctions, asserted claims for indemnity, pursued insurance protection, and recovered damages and lost profits.

Tom graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1991 with a degree in Economics, and obtained his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center (cum laude) in 1994.  Tom is licensed to practice before the Texas state courts as well as the United States Federal District Courts for the Southern, Western, Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas and the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit.

Tom is a former board member for the Houston Area Women’s Center and remains actively involved in fundraising to support the organization. He also remains involved in the Houston Bar Association’s work and support for The Center Servings Persons with disAbility.  Tom is a proud Houstonian who is devoted to Betsy Eason. Together they raise two wonderful children.
