Rick is an estate-focused attorney who cares about educating his clients and preparing them for life's changes and challenges. With nearly six years in probate court, he loves helping clients understand how wills, trusts, and other planning documents relate to (or avoid) court procedures.

Education & Experience - Rick practiced law for nearly six years in Kansas before moving to Southern Utah. He decided to run his own estate-focused practice (now in its second location) after working for a few years at a small law firm. Before law school, Rick worked for another estate planning attorney and for a company that provided estate planning documents throughout the country. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree through Washburn University School of Law.

Artist & Attorney - Prior to law, Rick studied art with an emphasis in portrait painting and graduated with a Bachelor degree in Communication. With his artistic wife and six children, he enjoys creative projects and outdoor adventures.
