Biography
Robert A. “Trey” Goodwin III earned his bachelor’s degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida (2001), and his Juris Doctor degree from the Florida State University School of Law (2005).
Trey founded the law firm of Robert A. Goodwin III, P.A., where he and his team make client satisfaction a top priority. Trey’s legal practice focuses on representing clients in real estate disputes, construction matters, probate, and estate planning.
Trey also gained significant experience in public service leadership as a member of the Fort Walton Beach City Council (2011 – 2013); and as Okaloosa County Commissioner for District 4 (2014 - present).
Trey’s deep commitment to public service is rooted in his comprehensive understanding of Northwest Florida’s community, business and governmental affairs environment.
In addition to his service in government, Trey is been actively involved in our community as a past member of the Kiwanis Club of Destin and the EDC Business Leadership Council of Okaloosa County.
Trey lives in Fort Walton Beach with his wife, Krystle and their children, daughter Alexia and son Robert. Trey and his family worship at Wright Baptist Church.
