They traveled to San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua volunteering their services to VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services for Humanity). Marcia and Robert enjoy bicycling on Martha's Vineyard and the rail trail with their dog, Dylan, a Bichon-Shih Tzu, who enthusiastically rides along in a toddler trailer. They also enjoy sailing, and on one occasion, sailed to the remote island of Cuttyhunk, enjoying the fishermen's fresh catch of the day.
