I am passionate about helping my clients with whatever matters most to them. For more than two decades, I have focused my practice on helping real people facing criminal charges, probation violations, professional licensing matters, Personal Protection Orders (PPOs), and forfeiture matters. I have represented clients in state and federal courts in over 50 counties across the state of Michigan, from Detroit to Grand Rapids, St. Joseph to Petoskey, and Cheboygan to Monroe, and I have earned the respect of judges and prosecutors throughout the state by zealously and ethically advocating for my clients.

Early in my legal career, I clerked for more than two years in the 3rd Circuit Court in downtown Detroit. I then represented clients as a solo practitioner in East Lansing, focusing my practice primarily in criminal law and family law. Subsequently, after joining larger firms, I represented clients throughout the state of Michigan charged with drunk driving and other criminal charges and defended physicians, nurses, and other health professionals in criminal and professional licensing matters.

I find my work very rewarding because I get to help real people every day. I also get to put my biology and psychology degrees to work alongside my law degree, which brings another dimension to my representation. I am very proud of the difference that I have been able to make in the lives of my clients.
