Robert J. Mandell is a partner in the The Mandell Law Firm, a tort litigation firm that has served Southern California for more than 30 years.

Mr. Mandell graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southwestern UniversitySchool of Law (first in his class in the rigorous SCALE program). He isan experienced trial lawyer,with several million-dollar plus awards to his credit. He has arguedand won several cases before the California Court of Appeal, includinga recent victory in the toxic tort arena, Environmental World Watch v.Cummins Engine, et al.

In 1999, Mr. Mandell won a formidable malpractice case against aworld renowned neurosurgeon whose trial expert literally wrote the bookon the procedure at issue in the case (Echecceria v. Regents ofUniversity of California - $1.8 million gross award). He is a member ofConsumer Attorneys of California, the Association of Trial Lawyers ofAmerica, the L.A. County and San Fernando Valley Bar Associations, aswell as a volunteer for Trial Lawyers Care, which provides freeassistance to the victims of September 11th.

Recently, Mr. Mandell and his team prevailed in two difficultproduct liability actions against General Motors, garnering substantialsettlements for victims of catastrophic injury. (Woodman v.
