The founding member of The DiCello Law Firm, Robert J. DiCello went to college at John Carroll University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1966. While working as a safety director for US Steel, Corp., he attended the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in the evenings. Mr. DiCello was published in the Cleveland-Marshall Law Review in 1969.

In 1971, Robert graduated from law school, receiving the degree of Juris Doctorate, and was admitted to the Ohio State Bar Association. Shortly thereafter, Mr. DiCello served as Assistant Prosecutor for the Office of the Lake County Prosecutor in Lake County, Ohio. In 1972 he was admitted to the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio and to the U.S. Supreme Court in 1977.

Mr. DiCello has an impressive list of seven figure (or more) verdicts and settlements for his clients.

 Mr. DiCello has been AV Preeminent Rated by Martindale Hubble-Highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards each year from 2001 to 2019.

Robert lives in Kirtland, Hills, Ohio, with his wife, Christine. They have been married for 42 years. He has three children, Robert F. DiCello, Mark A. DiCello, and Anne (Thacker) and six grandchildren.
