Biography
Robert L. Rediger is a preeminently rated (AV) lawyer and a founding partner of Rediger, McHugh & Hubbert, LLP. He has negotiated many collective bargaining agreements with labor unions on behalf of employers, including the first multi-employer CBA with the SEIU covering security officers in the Bay Area, a multi-employer CBA with the Teamsters Union covering parking attendants in San Francisco, and the first multi-employer CBA with the SEIU covering security officers in Los Angeles. He has litigated numerous employment-related cases before administrative agencies and in federal and state courts across the country, several of which have resulted in precedent setting decisions. Mr. Rediger received his B.A. cum laude from Queens College and his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law, where he concentrated his studies in labor law and litigation. He speaks regularly at seminars and writes articles on personnel-related issues. For several years, Mr. Rediger taught Labor Law and Employment Law classes at the University of Northern California School of Law. He is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Sections of the State Bar of California, and the American, Sacramento and New York State Bar Associations. He is an active member of the Rotary Club of Sacramento.
