Biography
I became a lawyer after working for a non-profit organization in Lafayette, Louisiana. While there, I encountered countless people unable to resolve urgent needs in their community. It helped motivate me to go to law school, where I began a career serving in the criminal justice system.
I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Republic of Azerbaijan for two years, and have served as an active member of the pro bono committee of the Baton Rouge Bar Association. I have remained actively involved with several community initiatives since being licensed to practice law.
I am a graduate of the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where I received his Juris Doctorate and Graduate Diploma of Civil Law. I am also a graduate of Centenary College of Louisiana in Shreveport, Louisiana, where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with an emphasis on Professional Writing.
