I am the managing partner of Cooper & Schall, PC. Our firm specializes in catastrophic phyiscal injury and wrongful death cases for cab drivers, bus drivers, motorcyclists, construction workers, abused children, pedestrians, and victims of assault, sexual assault,  medical mistake and defective products. This settlement was one of the largest reported settlements in Philadelphia for 2011.  Cooper & Schall has had many favorable appellate court decisions where new law was created to expand insurance coverage because of mistakes and misrepresentations made by insurance companies.  In one of the cases which C&S won in the Superior Court our client was awarded 1.65 Million prior to trial for a spinal cord injury called a syrinx. We have also been successful in recovering 1.3 Million for a young woman who was struck in Montgomery County by a highschool student who fell asleep at the wheel after coming home from his prom.
