Mr. Hammock received a Juris Doctorate from Loyola University School of Law in 1981 and was admitted to the practice of law by the Louisiana Supreme Court that same year. Mr. Hammock earned a B.A. from Loyola University undergraduate program in 1977 and is an alumnus of De La Salle High School in New Orleans, Louisiana, class of 1973.

Following admission, Mr. Hammock had the honor and privilege to serve as Law Clerk for the Honorable Wallace C. LeBrun in the Twenty-Fourth Judicial District Court for the Parish of Jefferson, State of Louisiana. Upon leaving the confines of the Judiciary environment Mr. Hammock has, over the years, practiced in the civil law arena with concentrations in insurance defense, personal injury, family law, successions, probate and oil & gas.

Mr. Hammock is married to his lovely and faithful companion in life, Linda. The proud parent of two daughters, Aimee and Dianna. Mr. Hammock is “Paw Paw” to his grandson and buddy, Avani.

Mr. Hammock is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Lafayette Bar Association, St. Tammany Bar Association and a past member of the American Bar Association and Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel.
