I grew up in the metro-Atlanta area and graduated from John Marshall Law School (J.D.) and Georgia State University (B.B.A., Finance, Cum Laude).

I have more than twenty years experience with a commercial finance company where I handled large dollar lending contracts. Before opening my own bankruptcy firm, I worked for one of the largest law firms in the Atlanta area, successfully representing hundreds of clients in all aspects of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies.

I am also a law professor at Southern Polytechnic University in Marietta, Georgia teaching Business Law.

Finally, I am actively involved in fundraising events for a local non-profit, non-partisan service organization of business executives and professionals dedicated to providing services to those in need, in the Grandparent and Relative Gift Giving Program with Atlanta Legal Aid Society and in community service projects through the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia.
