Biography
I am a Suma Cum Laude graduate of York College of Pennsylvania where I received a B.A. in Political Science. I received my Juris Doctorate degree from Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and was the recipient of the Nancy & Howard Finkelman Scholarship, awarded to a deserving, advanced-standing, extended-division student who has demonstrated scholastic excellence in the area of trial advocacy.
While attending Widener, I worked full time at the Pennsylvania Immigration Resource Center (PIRC) as a legal secretary and a Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) Accredited Representative where I worked with the detained immigration population at the York County Prison. As a law student and BIA Accredited Representative, I represented several immigrants going through removal proceedings. Through successful representation, these individuals were granted relief from deportation and were allowed to remain in the United States with their families. In addition to working for PIRC, I was a legal volunteer intern at the York Immigration Court where I provided legal research and writing assistance to the Immigration Judges.
I am fluent in Spanish and Italian, and my legal practice area is primarily immigration and criminal defense.
