I am a proud native of Sussex, Wisconsin, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison before continuing on to Marquette University Law School to receive my degree in law.  My experience in both governmental and academic circles allows me to bring a unique approach to private sector businesses and individuals.

While at Marquette, I had the privilege of studying under distinguished legal scholars and served as a tax policy research assistant under Associate Professor of Law, and now, Associate Dean for Enrollment, Ms. Vada Lindsey.  During this time, I worked as a litigation assistant in the Small Business & Self-Employed division of the Internal Revenue Service in Milwaukee where I made an appearance in the United States Tax Court.  In addition, I have worked in several State Senate offices formulating public policy and encouraging broad citizen participation in the legislative process.

My primary legal focus includes transactional work in business, real estate, and estate planning.
