Ryan P. Dillon is a lifelong Hoosier. He grew up in rural Shelby County, where his family was actively involved in the agricultural community. Ryan, his wife, and their three daughters currently reside in northern Johnson County. Here they continue to be involved in the agricultural community and are active members of Emmanuel Church.

Ryan's journey of service and leadership began early on with his involvement in the Boy Scouts of America (now Scouting America), culminating in the prestigious Eagle Scout Award in 2001. Ryan recently was recognized for thirty years of tenure in the organization, and currently serves as Scoutmaster, council volunteer, and Past-President of the Firecrafter Alumni Association.

Prior to attending law school, Ryan graduated from the University of Indianapolis with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations. His academic pursuits laid the foundation for a diverse legal career, which began to take shape while attending the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. Ryan explored a variety of different legal environments while attending.

Upon passing the Indiana bar exam in 2008, Ryan wasted no time in opening his practice. He was driven by a passion for serving his community. He is admitted to practice before all Indiana state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, and the Supreme Court of the United States. Additionally, Ryan is a Registered Civil and Domestic Relations Mediator with the State of Indiana, reflecting his commitment to alternative dispute resolution.

In addition to his active participation in Scouting America, Ryan is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, the Johnson County Bar Association , the Morgan County Bar Association, the National Eagle Scout Association, and the Freemasons.

Ryan focuses his practice in the areas of criminal defense, domestic relations and family law, estate planning and non-probate transfers, business and agricultural law, civil litigation, real estate matters, and mediation.
