I was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  I went to Adrian College where I played defensive end on the football team for four years. I worked my way through law school and graduated in 1997.   My wife and I were both eager to move back to the West side of the state after I graduated so I took a job at the law firm of Thompson & Thompson in Ludington, Michigan.   Fast forward to the present.  We have three busy kids and I am a partner with the same firm which is now called Thompson, Thompson & Glanville PLC.

I am a trial attorney and I love what I do.  I spend most of my time in court representing people who have been accused of committing crimes, injured in car accidents, or going through a divorce.  While criminal, personal injury, and family law may seem very different, they all require an attorney who is well prepared, knows how to make persuasive arguments, and is not afraid to fight for their client. I strive to excel in all areas. 

Don't think that hiring a large firm from a big city is always the best choice. Knowing the community and local judges, prosecutors and police often gives me an advantage over out of town lawyers. I primarily work in Mason, Lake, Manistee, and Oceana County but I have traveled farther if it is the right choice for my client and I.
