I am an attorney based in Raleigh, NC with a general practice. Primary areas of practice includes education law, administrative appeals, general business, personal injury, other general civil litigation, traffic, commercial real estate, estate planning, and juvenile/minor criminal. I am a 2009 cum laude graduate of North Carolina Central University School of Law. I began practicing law in 2009, and in 2010 started a position as an associate attorney at a law firm in Raleigh, NC. There I gained a dedicated mentor and much legal experience. I am also a former Legal Aid of North Carolina staff attorney at the Central Intake Unit in Raleigh, NC. In 2017, I rejoined the firm I began my legal career as a partner and the firm is called Bowens & Averhart, PLLC.
