I was born in Torrance, California, a suburb of Los Angeles, in 1977. I have been a resident of Chicago since 2007. My relationship with Chicago goes farther back however, as I have many relatives here and I would visit with them during my Christmas or Summer vacations while in school. My maternal Grandparents called Chicago home for many decades.
