Sam received his B.A. in Political Science and Government and graduated summa cum laude from Ashford University. He completed his undergraduate while he was on Active Duty in the US Navy,

He went on to graduate from The University of Texas School of Law where he also participated in Mock Trial, Trial Academy and Law Journal. During law school Sam spent his summers as a law clerk at Emerson Electric Co. in St. Louis and at Crosley Law Firm in San Antonio. Sam also spent a summer with Hartline Dacus Barger Dreyer as a summer associate. His work ethic and attitude were so impressive that he was asked to join the Dallas office after graduation and now focuses his practice on personal injury, product liability and civil litigation.
