I clearly remember the long and heartbreaking journey of entering and remaining in this country and I have nothing but compassion for those going through that journey.

I grew up on the border, in El Paso, Texas. There, I witnessed firsthand the injustices resulting from a complicated and unfair immigration system. This inspired me to pursue a career in law. After acquiring a finance degree from the University of Texas in El Paso, I pursued my dream of going to law school and becoming an immigration attorney.

Since graduating from St. Mary’s School of Law in San Antonio, I have dedicated my career to doing humanitarian work and to helping those who usually don’t have a voice. It is an honor to be able to help not only my Mexican people but people from all over the world. Helping people accomplish their dreams and remain together with their families is meaningful and fulfilling for me. I do this work because I have been there. I do this work because I care.
